ANECHOIC WEDGES TO FULFIL ISO 3745:2012 CLASS 1 REQUIREMENTS

The acoustic test chamber/room will be equipped with the metadyne absorber system, their cut off frequency ≤ 200 Hz. The metadyne wedge, however, was specifically developed for the today the Metadyne is the standard of technique for Anechoic Chambers. Long term, the Metadyne wedge gives greater value for money due to its expected life span when compared with foam or fibre glass materials. The wedges can be delivered in a color refer to customer choice. The used materials are incombustible. The Corners are designed refer to the anechoic requirements. The ducting for ventilation will be included in the absorption lining.

How Electrical Installation Done?

The acoustic anechoic chamber will be equipped with LED lights. The lights will be fitted directly under the roof wedges to provide a light density of about 400-500 Lux in the centre of works. 4 off 230 Volt sockets on one wall inside the SAC. One switch for light at the outer wall. Cables from the client for sensors and microphones will be penetrating through the IAC construction. The cable penetrations will be sealed by our installation crew.

What is Ventilation splitt airhandling unit?

The anechoic chamber will be equipped with fresh air. We will supply the necessary silencers and ventilator. The air in and out lets are in the corners of the chamber. The ventilation system is planned to suck the air through the chamber. 8-10 air changes/ hour. To avoid dust inside the chamber coming through the supply air it is planned to put a filter in the supply air duct. The system has a multilevel regulation. Ventilation can also switched off at test. A split air handling unit is adapted to the duct system. The out site unit is not more than 7 m away and can be fixed to the building wall. The hole for penetration need to be made by others.

The airhandling unit is optional, it can be excluded and supplied by customer.
