RF Absorbing materials are used to cover surfaces of test and measurement spaces. The test space can be a shielded cabinet, enclosure, tent, room, chamber. RF absorbing materials minimize the reflections to create a non-reflective surface. If you would like to perform EMC, RF, microwave, antenna measurements in 30MHz-110GHz frequency range, you need such absorbing materials on the surfaces for proper and accurate measurements. Most of the measurement methods and standards does not allow reflections during EMC and RF measurements.

We are supplying radio frequency absorbering materials for EMC, RF, antenna and microwave measurements and applications. Operating frequency of the absorbers we offer start from 30 MHz and goes up to 110 GHz. We are delivering RF absorbers internationally. You can either install RF absorbers yourself or have our optional on-site installation service. 

What are the key parameters of an RF absorber?

There are five key parameters when choosing the right RF absorber:

• Frequency (frequency range that you would like to perform measurements)
• Reflectivity (defines how much of incoming RF signal is reflected, it is a negative value. The less reflectivity the more absorbtion)
• Dimensions (to fit absorber on your application surface, room, chamber)
• Shape (pyramidal, square…) 
• Material type (defines the performance, quality and reflectivity parameters)
