    2) Do you provide product-specific manufacturer calibration report including serial number of the LISN or do you provide reports only with typical values only?
Yes, we provide detailed calibration report for each LISN with unique serial number on it. Manudacturer calibfration reports are not only including typical values. You can review some of sample manufacturer calibration reports below.
    3) What are the differences between manufacturer calibration report and accredited calibration report?
For manufacturer calibration reports: Manufacturer performs the measurements and report the measured values.
Accredited calibration reports: These reports have accrediting body’s logo on the document. Calibration is performed by an external/third-party laboratory which is accredited by the accreditation authority. Accredited calibration reports of above items are conducted by NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) of India.
    4) Can I review sample calibration reports?
Yes, you can review sample calibration reports. We have added four calibration reports below. Click one of the four links given below and review the sample calibration report:

    5) What is the maximum temperature limit of the LISNs?

LISN can safely withstand up to 140°C. Sufficient cooling around LISN has to maintained.

    6) How temperature of LISNs increase by current?

During continuous operation at 400A, temperature will reach at approximately 135-140°C within six(6) minutes. At 300A continuous operation, temperature will reach at the same level within fifteen(15) minutes.

    7) Datasheet of  LIN400-1M mentions the LISN can operate at 440 Hz AC voltage. Can the LISN also operate at 115VAC(rms) 400 Hz voltage?

Yes. LIN400-1M can operate with a supply voltage of 115VAC(rms) 400 Hz voltage.

    8) Is LIN32-4 fully compliant with CISPR 16-1-2 for both single phase, three phase(4-wire) and DC measurements?

    Yes, fully compliant.

    9) What are the Standard/Default Accessories that comes with LISNs?

50Ω, 2W Termination, N to N Cable 2 m, N to BNC Adapter and Manufacturer’s Calibration Certificate are standard accessories that comes with every LISN you order. Additional fee is not charged for these items, they will be inside the shipped box.

    10) Does 50 ohm 2W termination resistors come with the LISNs and calibration report from you?

Yes. With every LISN, one(1) piece of 50 ohm, 2W termination is delivered. If you need more, we can add it to your quotation and supply.

    11) Why 50 ohm 2W termination resistors needed?

When mains power goes to EUT through LISN during radiated emission and immunity testing, LISN RF output port is than terminated with this 50 Ohm termination. You do not need termination for conducted emissions tests since RF output port is connected to the receiver.

    12) Why N to N Cable 2 m that comes with every LISN needed?

It is needed to make connection between LISN and receiver. Ensure that your receiver has an N-type RF input port or have additional RF adapter/connector that fits to your reciver’s RF input port.

    13) Why N to BNC adapter that comes with every LISN needed?

It is used when LISN is ordered with BNC connector on it, then a BNC-BNC cable is coming with the LISN and sometimes customer needs to use this LISN with a measuring instrument with N port.

    14) Are CEE sockets on LISNs available?

Yes, LISNs with CEE sockets are available. Before ordering you should ask CEE sockets. Standard Input and Output terminals provided are CEE Sockets up to 100A, however optional wing terminal and SUPERCON connectors can be ordered.

    15)  What is the maximum RF power limit of the 20dB Transient Limiter/Attenuator (Model: IN61)?

Max power rating is 2W. For emission measurement, this rating is enough. This not a simple attenuator but transient limiter which will protect input stage of measuring instrument from sudden transients from mains (clipping level up to 100 dBuV)

    16) What are the Optional Accessories that may come with LISNs with additional fees?

These are additional and paid four options: Remote Control (built-in) for R&S, Keysight, PMM, Gauss and other EMI Analyzers, High Voltage (built-in) with Wing Terminals, Switch selectable 250 uH Pre-filter (built-in), Calibration Report traceable to ISO 17025. If you would like to order any of these options, please send us your receiver’s model, and the requirement for each option.

    16) When ‘REMOTE-EMIRX Remote Control (built-in)’ option is used?

To able to control LISN via measurement receiver or its software. The remote control option makes the LISN controllable and measured line is switchable by the receiver for automated testing. This option is available for receivers manufactured by Rohde&Schwarz, Keysight, PMM, Gauss and other EMI Analyzer/Receiver manufacturers in the market.

    17) Which EMI Reciver models are compatible for ‘REMOTE-EMIRX Remote Control (built-in)’ option?

Send us your model and let us review whether your receiver is compatible. If your receiver is compatible, suitable connector will be added to your LISN.  When you connect remote control cable between the LISN and the receiver, your receiver will start to control LISN’s line switches. Some model are compatible and some are not for this feaure. For instance, R&S ESR series EMI Receivers are compatible with this LISN remote control option. Some obsolute models are not compatible with the option. For instance, R&S ESVP-3 is outdated/obsoleted model, it can not be used for remote control of LISN.

    18) What is the requirement of ‘High Voltage 1 kV DC / 750 Vac (built-in) with Wing Terminals’ HV1000DC-750AC option?

This option is only available with Wing Terminals not with CEE or Schuko socket.
