In USA, FCC regulates EMC and RF related products with its regulations.
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests are performed at OATS, specific rooms or test chambers which are defined by FCC and ANSI standards. Primary test site requirement for radiated emissions tests is Open Area Test Site (OATS). However, alternative test sites are allowed. One of the alternative test sites are anechoic chambers. They are designed to completely absorb reflections of electromagnetic waves. They are also often isolated from waves entering from their surroundings.

If you also want to attend the tests, please inform us when sending us purchase order, we will schedule laboratory for your visit.

Types of EMC tests
EMC tests are applied after the product standard is determined, Emission part of EMC tests can be listed as follows:
- Radiated Emissions (It is tested whether the electromagnetic signals in the product tested through EMC antennas are below limits)
- Conducted Emissions (It is tested whether the electromagnetic emission caused by the tested product’s cables is below the limits.
Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity (SDoC)
After you have test report(s), it is time to issue Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity (SDoC). SDoC is a procedure that requires the party responsible for compliance ensure that the equipment complies with the appropriate technical standards. The responsible party, who must be located in the United States, is not required to file an equipment authorization application with the Commission or a TCB. Equipment authorized under the SDoC procedure is not listed in a Commission database. However, the responsible party or any other party marketing the equipment must provide a test report and other information demonstrating compliance with the rules upon request by the Commission. The responsible party has the option to use the certification procedure in place of the SDoC procedure. When you need a SDoC contact us.
