What is turntable for EMC?
Turntable is a circular surface on which Equipment Under Test (EUT) is turned around during the EMC tests. While performing radiated emissions and immunity/susceptibility EMC tests, EUT placed on a turntable is turned to apply the test at different positions of the EUT. Using turntable saves time since it makes EMC testing easier. When the turntable is connected to an electronic controller and integrated to EMC test software, it becomes a component of the test system and allows automated EMC tests. Most of the EMC test laboratories prefers using turntable.
